As you may have seen on Instagram, I spent the other week in Michigan visiting family. I am now back in Chicago. However, I am still playing catching after being gone for the whole week.
I took this weekend for some much-needed relaxation! This Friday we had some friends over for my book club. It would not be a book club without plenty of wine, beer, and charcuterie. I highly recommend reading, Natural Disaster by Ginger Zee especially if you grew up seeing her in the Michigan or Chicago area.
On Saturday we went to our favorite restaurant, Bread and Wine. They had a three-course prix fixe dinner Chicago Independent Restaurant Week which I highly enjoyed. I was obsessed with the Beet salad and Mussels! We ended the night by joining our neighbors Alli and Brandon for the Michigan game. Alli and I are both Michigan grads. I can’t believe Michigan is in the final four. Go Blue!
